It's been a while

I've been slacking a bit with posting stuff, but I will be keeping this more up to date in the coming weeks. If you want our most up to date news, your best bet is our Facebook Page or Instagram @mf_farrell for me and @jovendor for Jo, we update them pretty much daily. I've also been pretty bad at taking photos recently but I've got a new camera now, so in the coming weeks I'll be posting more work as well.
Jo and I will be working at the East Coast Tattoo Convention in November, which you should all have a look at, Jo's particularly looking forward to the hog roast, and we'll have a load of designs drawn up for that.
We'd also like to thank everyone we met at the Norwich Body Arts Festival, we had a great time there and tattooed a few nice pieces, looking forward to going back to that beautiful city next year.
Anyway, here are couple things we've had through the door recently

Farrell

This is a photo of Cinderella all healed up on Teagan, we're working it into a half sleeve at the moment and we're not too far off from being finished right now

A happy bear with lots of honey for Layla, I'm going to be tattooing a goose on her on Monday in a similar style

And this Layla's russian doll that I did about 2 years ago now

Portsmouth Tattoo Convention

So the 28th/29th is just around the corner and we're all geared up ready for the Portsmouth Tattoo Convention! There aren't many advance discount tickets left, so get them while you can or pick them up at the door on the day. I've got a couple pieces booked in but I'll have space to tattoo walk ups on the day and talk about any old shit, so if you're going, then come by and say hi.
Andy will be keeping the shop open so everyone back at home won't be missing out.
It's been a while since the last post, so I think I better post some pictures. We keep a more up to date feed on the shop on our facebook page, so join that and nothing will slip by.

What I like to do when someone has a rough idea and wants it done on the day

Here's a healed photo of Niran's fu dog. Tried a couple new things out and it turned out looking great

This is Freya Fox's warrior girl. She's half healed and half fresh in the photo

Jubilee Weekend

Letting you know we will be open on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday of the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend. With all that time off work it'd be silly not to get tattooed! Also we have donated £100 in vouchers to the Kenton Gardens' Street Party, with all proceeds for the raffle going to The Samantha Dixson Brain Tumour Trust.
The street party starts at 12 on the Monday, so go down there for some fun, win big and then come spend it in the shop!

And a few from Joe

Unfortunately this year's State of the Art convention has been cancelled, so we're going to be looking at a few other ones and hopefully make it to one later in the year. It's a shame we won't get to see some of the friends we made at Derby again this year, but maybe next year we'll make it.
Here are a few of the things that have been keeping me busy, had a lot of great tattoos and customers in the past couple weeks, and have a lot booked in for next week as well.

I love doing really heavy black designs, especially roses

Finished off this sleeve last weekend (I didn't tattoo the writing of black and grey flowers next to it)

Ian still managed to come in after breaking his ankle, we couldn't work on his leg so he got this cool little heart instead

I've been dying to do this design as soon as I drew it up, and Lee sat through the pain to get it done

What Andy's been up to

Here are a few pieces on customers that Andy's been working on.

Lots of black and grey religious tattoos, starting with a little cherub

Piece of Boog flash

Knocked this out in one sitting

Really nice delicate flowers on the shoulder

Nice sexy angel that Andy custom designed

Done from a piece of Farrell's flash

Sun and moon design

Custom swallows and scroll

We're Back

We're back from the States! Andy's been doing a great job by the looks of things but Big Joe and Little Jo are back and ready for business! We met a lot of awesome tattooists over the past month, exchanging tips and stories, making some good friends!
Come down and say hello, and get ready for some stories. It's GOOOOOD to be back!

We're pretty busy this week so we'll have some photos to put up in no time, and Andy's got a bunch after the last month as well, but until then, here's a photo of me getting a dose of my own medicine. I'm sure some of you will enjoy seeing me in pain!

Spring time

Thank God the weather's started to get nice, hopefully it'll be staying like this for a while! I won't be around for the next few weeks, so Andy will be running things at the shop and looking after everyone who comes in. If you have any questions then you can email him Andy@Accomplicetattoo.co.uk, and he'll be able to help you out.
Before I leave, here's a couple of recent pieces I've done.

Farrell

Got to do a nice big rose on Christina earlier in the week, she sat like a trooper and it looked great in the end

Did a crow on Tom to go on the same arm as his owl that I tattooed before

Friendship Hello Kitty tattoos FTW

Couple of small swallows on Karis

Finished up Shiran's arm, just a detail shot of the angel, a bit different to what I usually do but really enjoyed this one

Hello March

Just a few things to show, I'm gonna get some photos off of Andy to put up soon as well.

Farrell

We managed to add onto NeeNee's leg piece last month with a sweet lotus and anothing koi. Tough guy sat for 5 hours on this one

Re-drew a bit of flash for Valentines day and just added my own twist to it

Put this on my brother last week, my first hot air balloon I've done, would be fun to do more uncommon/weird designs

Mark decided to get a rose right on top of his elbow, not too much to do now to finish off his sleeve

Finished Paul's koi half sleeve and added a little bit of purple to high light the waves

Teagan got this Gypsy head for her mum, just used sepia tones and a deep red, really like the finished result with the limited colours

Stacey started this over a year ago so it was good to finally finish it! Hopefully we'll put up a healed photo sometime, as the flesh colour always looks really pink when it's fresh
